Gallery 2 » Bowie in Gugging 1994 Number of photos in the album: 30

On September 8, 1994, David Bowie and Brian Eno spent a day in Gugging where they met the celebrated artist Oswald Tschirtner. It’s a psychiatric institution where patients with mental disorder were first encouraged to participate in art therapy, and which later became one of the most important art colonies and centers for Art Brut.
The photographer Christine de Grancy accompanied them on this visit.
